The arabesque does not begin with ornament. It begins with stars, with the mathematics of the celestial, translated into geometry, woven into architecture, pressed into wood and stone and paper. The Celestial Weave continues where the Mousharabiah Screen left off: from the geometry of protection, upward, into the sky.

Three works in dialogue. Six wall panels, two artist’s books of twenty-four prints, three archival boxes. Arabic and Western press in conversation across languages, geographies and times.

Three patterns: Shamsa Medallion, Lotus Arch, Lattice Mina-Khani, overprinted with bomb clouds, reduced until only white paper remains.

This erasure is not destruction. It is an invitation to reconstruct what has been silenced.
